Chile Pepper Dry Rubs and Marinades
the dry rubs we are recommending here contain dried chile powder in one form or another:
- chili powder
- curry powder
- ground cayenne
- or other dried and ground chile pepper
- plus other dried spices and herbs:
- black pepper
- cumin
- coriander
- turmeric
- dried oregano
- dried thyme
- dried basil
- fresh garlic
- powdered garlic
- sugar
Marinades
- Hot sauce
- Barbecue sauce
- Spice oil
Score the meat. Apply the dry rub by doing exactly that - rubbing it into the meat. For a marinade - pour it over the meat (marinate).
